Have you ever dreamed about being part of a select group, only to one day learn that it isn't quite what you thought it was?
For me, it's the comic strip and webtoon communities.
I've dreamt since childhood about one day having a comic strip in syndication, but the newspaper industry syndication depends on seems to be rapidly fading away due to the increasing popularity of the internet and the amount of "free" content available online (news sites, webtoons, etc.). Then there are many bright artists making webtoons, but I've found most of these artists produce cartoons with content (vulgarities, adult references, etc.) that I'm not quite sure I'd want my own work to be associated with.
